Art is the language of the dead, a harrowing voice that is heavy with secrets.
The role of the artist is to translate that awful tongue into images of light & wonderlust.

I am a visual artist working in traditional media (ink, watercolour paint), digital photography & darkroom techniques, creative retouching and exprimental moving image. I am most inspired when exploring themes of the Occult, Totem spirit animals, lovely Phantasms and narrative photography; exploring nature as the all-devourer, expressions of the sacred feminine, self-hate, drowning, death and a state of opiated consciousness. My works are created in an opiated state of wakeful dreaming, and are intended to have the effect of Laudanum and Luxe ~ a heavy drowsiness, the settling weight of snow on bare earth, the sound of starlight falling into open graves.
